History

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

At the same time that the evil Master Xehanort was leaving the Land of Departure, Master Eraqus learned of the existence of the Nescient from Yen Sid. Then, Eraqus sent two of his three apprentices (Terra and Aqua) to warn Master Xehanort. of the danger of these. However, Eraqus did not foresee that his other apprentice, Ventus, would set out in pursuit of Terra. It is during Ventus' final battle against Vanitas that the true nature of the Nescient is discovered.

He explains that the Nescient are his creations and only loyal to him. As he is created in the purest and truest form of darkness, Vanitas is able to control the negative emotions of others and shape them. To carry out Master Xehanort's plans to create the Keyblade χ and his own desire to cause harm to others, Vanitas travels all over the worlds filling them with Nesciente.

With the destruction of Vanitas, the Nescient are erased from existence.

Appearance

The Nesciente all have a dark blue main color and various shades of gray throughout the body. They all carry the emblem of the Nescient in different places.

The emotions from which they come generate different expressions on the faces of the Nescient. So we can see sad, smiling, angry, crying faces, etc.

The weak Nesciente have bluish tones while the stronger ones have reddish and brown tones.
