Open water channels it's a long assignment in Among Us, completed in Polus.
Overview
Crewmembers must travel to the Boiler Room at the bottom left of O2 or Outside near the left Office door to begin this task. The map will show the first valve as the one on the right in the Boiler Room and the last valve as the one outside, but they can be done in any order.
Valves must be turned counterclockwise for water in a pipe to flow to the top. The speed of the water increases as the valve is turned, which means that this task can be done without turning the valve much, but it is much faster to turn it all the way.
Curiosities
- The valves can be turned clockwise, but doing so will decrease the water flow and therefore not complete the task.
- The Crewmembers can complete the stages in the order of the place they wish; either from the outside to the boiler room, or vice versa. This is, as of the current update, the only task where it is possible to do so.
- Previously, the valve near the office could be used through the Administration walls. This made the task a bit safer, as players could avoid standing near the conduit outside. However, this bug was removed in the V2020.11.17 update.
- The player can exit the task even if it is not completed without losing progress. However, they must turn the valve on resuming to complete it.
