Each filtering bag Bad Piggies (also called green pigs or simply pigs) are the main antagonists or protagonists of the Angry Birds series, who live mainly on Pig Island (although some also live on Golden Island), and who are constantly stealing the unhatched eggs of the birds, with the desire to cook and eat them .

In order to prevent the birds from retrieving their eggs, King Pig commands his army of pigs to build many buildings and structures to prevent the birds from reaching him.

All pigs are light green in color, and they come in various variations. In the first place, there is the common or satin pig that comes in three sizes, small, medium and large. Then there's the hog-wearing pig, known as the Cape Pig, the second-in-command mustache pig named Whiskers, and finally his final boss, the Pig King. Starting with the fourth episode, The Big Setup, the pigs start wearing different hats and / or accessories, including helmets, pumpkin hats, pumpkins, ghost leaves, winter clothes, Santa Claus hats, cowboy hats, hats, and bows. Despite these hats being worn, they remain the same species, as they can be affected without the hat being destroyed, or vice versa.

Each pig eliminated scores 5000 points, but scores slightly more if the accessory it is wearing is also destroyed in the process.

Bad Piggies

In this game the pigs have the leading role, it consists of building vehicles to take the Pig with freckles and sometimes the King Pig from one area to another.

Angry Birds Star Wars

They take on the role of the Galactic Empire.

Angry Birds Toons

In Toons, the pigs are shown living in a medieval village, with the king living in his castle.

In the episode Another Birthday it is seen that the inhabitants of the village (hundreds) share a single bedroom at night. Although in later episodes, the village is different, (because it is continuously destroyed) and each pig sleeps in its little house.

Appearance and Species

Like birds, there are different variants of pigs, each with a different level of resistance. There are small, medium and large pigs and some pigs wear hooves, which are more difficult to destroy. Some dress up according to the date in Angry Birds Seasons.

In update 4.0.0 of the classic version of the game, all pigs were modified by changing their physical appearance, keeping their same qualities. In Angry Birds Seasons the pigs were never updated, so they continue with their old design.
