Sleeping Lion

Sleeping Lion (ス リ ー ピ ン グ ラ イ オ ン Surīpingu Raion?) Is a Keyblade that appears in Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. Sora obtains it for Leon before the second trip to Paranoid Space in Kingdom Hearts II. It is also one of the Keyblade types that appear in the Keyblade Necropolis.

Design

The blade and hilt resemble the Pistol Saber wielded by Squall in Final Fantasy VIII. The tip and key ring are lion heads, reminiscent of Gryphus / Griever, also from Final Fantasy VIII.

Other appearances

Sleeping Lion is one of the Keyblades that comes with the Play Arts Figures Final Form figure.

• The name Sleeping Lion refers to the sword of Leon, which is "asleep" unless the trigger is activated.
