This has been the start of the Ice Storm event in Fortnite
At 20:00, wherever you were in the game (starting a game, in a game in progress ...), the sphere has burst, and the Ice King has emerged from its interior, the skin obtained by players who reach the level 100 of the battle pass.
If you were not close, you could see from any point of the map a kind of spectrum, which replicated the movements of the king. After gathering energy and releasing it, a huge wave of snow has swept across the island.
As it passed, the wave has covered the entire map with snow, as on Christmas day (below we leave you the current aspect of the game map), which will remain so until the event ends, in six days.
As in Fortnitemares, fragments of ice have appeared on the map from which demons emanate, reappearing enemies managed by the console, which are incorporated into the development of a normal game of the game.
Apart from the map changes, it has also been the starting gun for the Ice Storm event, in which for six days, two challenges will be added per day, for 5 more days (that is, until next Thursday).
