Zero is the pet of Jack Skeleton, a ghost dog, who appears in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Originally appeared in the Tim Burton film "The Nightmare Before Christmas". However, in this game, Zero appears glowing with a blue light compared to his usual white appearance.

Jack's ghost dog. He comes out of his grave whenever Jack calls him. He is very loyal to his master and loves that Jack plays with him.

Zero made a rather small appearance in the first Kingdom Hearts, as just a ghostly hallucination.

Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days

When Roxas finds Jack and Zero in the Graveyard, he is amused to see that the ghostly dog can sense the presence of the Heartless around him with his nose. Teaching Jack a Carrier Ghost that was hidden in one, Zero is rewarded by a happy Jack as Roxas watches them. Later, Roxas would realize that if he gave Zero a bone, the dog would reveal the places where the Heartless are hiding. The dog gladly complies.

Kingdom Hearts II

In Kingdom Hearts II, Zero appears again. Floating around Dr. Finkelstein's lab after his reunion with Sora, he happily barks at the Keyblade's chosen one when he speaks to him.
